Ink that stays. Pain included.
Tattoo studio in Zurich, Kreis 5. Black, grey and fine line. No catalogue: every piece is drawn from scratch for the skin it will live on.
Book a sessionWe opened in 2014 on a first floor on Josefstrasse, with two beds and a borrowed printer. We are still on the same floor.
We work by appointment only, and only from our own drawings. Bring an image off the internet and we will treat it as a conversation, not a stencil. What leaves here is yours and nobody else's.
There are four of us. We take few pieces a week because we would rather do each one twice: once on paper, once on skin.

How it
works
-
Talk
Send us the idea, where on the body, and a rough size. We answer within two working days, always with a name behind it.
-
Drawing
A [CHF 100] deposit holds the drawing and comes off the session. You see the artwork before the day, and one round of changes is included.
-
Session
Sterile, single-use kit, opened in front of you. Eat before you come. Bring water, patience and something to listen to.
-
Healing
You leave with film, aftercare on paper and our number. Touch-ups, if you need one, are on us within the first year.

Honest
answers
01 Does it hurt?
It does. Some places more than others — ribs, feet, hands and the inner arm are the worst of it. Nobody here will tell you it feels like a feather, but breaks are free and they're yours to call.
02 What does it cost?
The minimum is [CHF 180]. After that it's by session, and it depends on size, detail and placement. We give you a closed price before we start, and it doesn't move halfway through.
03 Can I bring a design I saw online?
You can, and you should — as a reference. We don't copy another tattooer's work; we make our own piece from the same idea. It's the only way this is fair to everyone.
04 First time. What do I bring?
ID, breakfast already eaten, and clothes that give us access to the area. Don't come hungover or on an empty stomach — it's the fastest way to go dizzy halfway through.
05 Do you cover up old work?
We do, after a photo in daylight before we say yes. Some tattoos need two or three laser sessions first — and we'll say so, even when it costs us the job.
06 What about piercings?
No. We send people to two places nearby that we trust; ask us and we'll give you the names.
